Age Access Restriction: Dorith is a professional media conversion application dedicated exclusively to adult users aged 18 and older. All built-in functions including video uploading, live photo generation and local file exporting are restricted to adult users only. Individuals under 18 years of age are prohibited from accessing, registering and utilizing any service modules within this application.

Product Introduction: Dorith focuses on lightweight media conversion, supporting users to upload local short videos and convert clips into high-quality Live Photo files with one click. All conversion tasks are executed locally on user devices to help users create personalized dynamic live photos for daily sharing and collection.

1. Overview & Agreement Consent

This Privacy Policy is officially formulated by the Dorith operation team to regulate data processing behaviors during media conversion services. This document clarifies how we collect, store, utilize and protect user data, as well as the corresponding rights and obligations of both the platform and end users. Downloading, installing and using this application automatically signifies that you have fully read, understood and agreed to every clause contained herein. If you refuse to accept any term of this policy, please uninstall the application and terminate all service use behaviors immediately.

2. Age Compliance & Minor Protection

2.1 Based on platform operation specifications and global industry regulatory standards for media editing tools, we clearly stipulate that our services are only open to users who have reached the age of majority. This product does not provide targeted services for minors, and we will never actively collect any video files, device information or personal data belonging to underage users.

2.2 Once our system detects unauthorized access and usage by minors, we reserve the right to permanently block the corresponding device identifier, clear all local cache data generated during usage, and reject subsequent registration and access applications. Any risks and legal liabilities caused by minor users’ violation of access rules shall be borne solely by their legal guardians.

3. Scope of Collected User Data

We strictly implement the data minimization principle for media processing tools, and refuse to collect any irrelevant sensitive information. The data involved in our service process is divided into two categories, and the specific specifications are as follows:

3.1 Temporary Local Cache Data

When users upload videos and perform Live Photo conversion, temporary transcoding cache files will be generated locally on the user’s device. The cache data is only used to assist the completion of media format conversion, and will not be uploaded, synchronized or stored on any remote cloud server.

3.2 Anonymous Technical Maintenance Data

To continuously optimize conversion efficiency, fix format compatibility bugs and improve overall user experience, we anonymously collect de-identified technical data including application crash records, function usage frequency and abnormal operation logs. This type of data cannot be used to identify any independent individual user and does not contain user’s original video and converted Live Photo files.

4. Local Processing Core Statement

4.1 Different from traditional cloud-based media editing software, Dorith adopts a full-localized conversion mode as its core operating mechanism. The platform hereby clearly declares that all user-uploaded original videos, edited clips and finished Live Photo files are always stored in the user’s private device storage space. Our server will never actively obtain, store, back up or scan users’ local media resources in any form.

4.2 Users independently own all ownership rights of converted Live Photo files, and can freely export, save, share or delete media files according to personal preferences without any platform intervention.

5. Authorized Usage of Collected Data

All collected anonymous technical data and local cache resources are only used for the following agreed service purposes, and shall not be used for commercial marketing, user profiling or unauthorized third-party delivery:

• 5.1 Realize core functions such as local video parsing, format transcoding and Live Photo one-click generation and export;

• 5.2 Solve compatibility issues between different video encodings and mobile device models;

• 5.3 Analyze anonymous operation logs to optimize conversion speed and improve the success rate of Live Photo generation;

• 5.4 Receive and reply to user feedback, functional suggestions and after-sales consultation submitted via official email;

• 5.5 Comply with applicable regional data protection laws and related administrative regulatory requirements.

6. Data Retention & Active Deletion Rules

6.1 Temporary transcoding cache generated during media conversion will be automatically cleared by the application after the user completes or abandons the Live Photo export task. Users can also manually clear all cache resources through the built-in cleaning function at any time.

6.2 Anonymous technical maintenance logs are stored in an isolated encrypted environment and will be automatically erased by the system within 15 calendar days to avoid long-term accumulation of redundant data. Since original videos and finished dynamic pictures are stored locally, the retention period of such media files is completely controlled by the user.

7. Third-Party Service & Sharing Regulations

7.1 The core video-to-Live conversion function of Dorith runs independently without embedding any third-party advertising SDK, data statistics plug-ins, payment components and external cooperative service interfaces. The platform does not share any user data with external commercial organizations.

7.2 We promise not to sell, rent or trade user’s local videos, Live Photo works and related usage data in any business scenario. The only exception is mandatory data disclosure behaviors required by formal legal documents issued by judicial and administrative authorities.

8. Basic Rights of Registered Users

All eligible adult users have complete autonomous control over local media files and platform related data, and enjoy the following legitimate rights:

• 8.1 File Management Right: Independently manage, export and delete uploaded videos and converted Live Photo files;

• 8.2 Permission Control Right: Choose to enable or disable anonymous log collection permission, which will not affect the core conversion function;

• 8.3 Data Clearing Right: One-click clear all temporary conversion cache generated by the application;

• 8.4 Consultation & Complaint Right: Put forward privacy doubts and service suggestions through the official support email.

9. Policy Update & Notification Mechanism

9.1 Our operation team reserves the right to update and adjust the clauses of this privacy policy according to product function iteration and changes in regional legal provisions. The updated policy will be displayed on the dedicated privacy page inside the application with the latest revision date marked.

9.2 Users’ continued use of the media conversion service after the policy update will be regarded as recognition and acceptance of the revised clauses. If you disagree with the updated terms, you need to stop using the application immediately.
