Age Access Constraint: Dorith Video To Live is a professional multimedia conversion utility focused on Live Photo generation. This application is exclusively accessible to end users aged eighteen (18) and above with full civil capacity. Any registration, download and functional usage behaviors from underage users are strictly prohibited across all service regions.

Introduction

This End User Terms of Service (hereinafter referred to as the “EULA”) constitutes a legally binding contractual agreement between the Dorith operating team (hereinafter referred to as “Us/Operator”) and individual registered users (hereinafter referred to as “You/User”). This EULA clarifies all binding rules, corresponding rights and obligations during your usage of our video-to-Live-Photo conversion service. Your act of downloading, installing and opening this application to complete video conversion tasks shall be deemed that you have fully read, understood and unconditionally accepted all clauses of this agreement. If you have objections to any clause, you shall immediately terminate all operations and uninstall this application permanently.

1. User Access Rules & Basic Undertakings

1.1 Age Qualification: The Operator explicitly restricts this multimedia conversion service to adult users over 18 years old. We reserve the right to adopt technical verification means to screen underage users. Once unauthorized minor access is detected, we have the right to block corresponding device access and prohibit the user from using any related services permanently.

1.2 Service Usage Scope: All functional modules of Dorith are developed for users’ personal non-commercial multimedia production only. Users are not authorized to utilize converted Live Photos, original uploaded videos and service derivative resources for commercial sales, paid customization, advertising promotion and other profit-oriented behaviors without prior written approval issued by the Operator.

1.3 User Behavioral Commitment: You promise that all video files uploaded to the platform comply with local cyber laws and intellectual property related regulations. You shall not upload files containing illegal content, pornographic elements, violent clips, infringing materials and other prohibited resources, and you shall independently bear all legal liabilities arising from rule violations.

2. Service General Description

Dorith specializes in lightweight video conversion, focusing on solving users’ demand for converting short video clips into Apple-native Live Photo files. Users can upload qualified local short videos through the platform, and the system will complete frame screening, audio matching and format adaptation in one step to generate standard Live Photo files compatible with iOS devices. Users can export and save the generated Live Photos to local albums for wallpaper setting, daily sharing and personal collection.

The Operator reserves the right to adjust supported video formats, optimize conversion algorithms and upgrade export quality parameters based on user feedback and iterative upgrades. Minor performance optimizations that do not change core conversion functions will not deliver separate notifications to users.

3. Uploaded Files & Converted Content Regulations

3.1 Content Legality Guarantee: You shall warrant that all uploaded short videos are independently created by you or legally licensed for conversion. The Operator shall not bear joint legal liabilities for copyright disputes, portrait right disputes and other legal risks caused by users’ unauthorized uploading of third-party copyrighted resources.

3.2 File Processing Rules: All uploaded videos are only used for real-time format conversion tasks initiated by users. The platform will automatically erase original video caches and temporary conversion files after the task is completed. We will not store user source files for a long time or apply files to algorithm training and other additional scenarios without explicit user authorization.

3.3 Prohibited Operations: Users are forbidden to upload virus files, damaged invalid videos and sensitive illegal content in batches. It is prohibited to use third-party scripts, plug-ins and cheating tools to occupy server resources and break the stable operation of the conversion system.

4. Data Privacy & Security Control

We abide by the principle of minimal necessary data collection and comply with the Personal Information Protection Law of the People's Republic of China and Apple App Store privacy specifications. We only collect temporary running data required to complete video parsing and Live Photo conversion, and never actively collect users’ irrelevant sensitive private information such as identity information and device privacy data.

Except for the temporary cache generated during conversion, the platform will not actively save users’ original videos and finished Live Photo works. We promise not to disclose, rent or sell user uploaded files and converted works to any external third-party institutions and individuals. We only provide relevant data as required when national judicial and administrative authorities issue valid legal documents in accordance with statutory procedures.

5. Intellectual Property Authorization Clause

5.1 Platform Intellectual Property: The application’s underlying operation code, exclusive video-to-Live conversion algorithm, interactive interface design and brand trademark belong to the Operator exclusively. Any unauthorized cracking, reverse engineering, secondary modification and commercial utilization of the above intellectual property are strictly prohibited.

5.2 User Content Authorization: Users retain complete ownership of all uploaded source videos and exported Live Photo works. The Operator only obtains limited non-commercial technical authorization to execute conversion tasks. This EULA does not grant us any ownership and commercial usage right of user-generated content.

6. Violation Sanctions & Service Termination Mechanism

For users who violate any clauses of this EULA, including uploading prohibited illegal files, abusing conversion functions and using platform resources for commercial purposes without authorization, the Operator has the right to take graded punitive measures, including restricting file uploading permissions, suspending conversion functions and permanently banning device access permissions.

Users can terminate the service authorization at any time by uninstalling the application. After the termination of the service, the clauses related to intellectual property protection, privacy confidentiality and dispute settlement shall remain legally valid all the time.

7. Liability Exemption Statement

The Operator provides video conversion services on an “as available” basis, and only promises to provide services within the scope of current mature technical capabilities. We do not make explicit or implicit guarantees for full compatibility with all video encoding formats and 100% error-free conversion results.

We shall not be liable for file damage, conversion failure and data loss caused by user misoperation, insufficient device storage space and network interruption. Meanwhile, we are exempted from liabilities for service suspension caused by force majeure events such as natural disasters and official policy adjustments.

8. Supplementary Provisions & Dispute Resolution

The Operator reserves the right to revise and update this EULA according to national regulatory laws and industry access standards. The updated clauses will be displayed inside the application and take effect immediately after publication. Your continuous use of the conversion service after the update constitutes your acceptance of the revised agreement.

This EULA shall be governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China (excluding Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan regions). In case of any legal dispute between both parties, priority shall be given to friendly negotiation; if the negotiation fails, either party may file a lawsuit to the competent people's court where the Operator is located.
